So I wanted to make sure that there were reports that Celtics made no moves at the trade deadline again. Why? I mean you’re in contention this year, why not move guys like Ojeleye, Wanamaker, Langford, hell you’ve got 3 1st round picks currently projected to be 17, 26, and 30. Why does Ainge value all these guys so much and these picks? Plus do you really plan on using all the picks? You’re not going to be able to put them with the Red Claws you’ll have to stash em in Europe. Seeing some other deals and how low of a cost they were is more infuriating that Boston didn’t make a move. Even the Cleveland Cavaliers made an addition in Andre Drummond essentially giving an end of the bench guy and a future 2nd round pick. I’m sorry but 95% of Celtics fans and the front office are happy just making the playoffs. Since when did Boston turn soft and say oh well we’re in the playoffs anything can happen right? That’s true for NHL but NBA when was the last time a mid level team didn’t go to the Finals or even win it? Last I remember I believe Celtics were a 4 seed when they lost in 7 to the Lakers a series they should’ve won. It doesn’t happen in NBA, you need talent. Milwaukee I think is vulnerable, Giannis hasn’t driven to the rim as much since he’s not very good at the free throw line, foul him make him shoot free throws, make others beat you. Still don’t think Boston gets by em but if they added a big, maybe.
